Smart Regions Blog
SmartRegions.US will be initiating its blog with a series of introductory posts that provide a framework for the broader conversation.
- The first set of posts will explain the tools that we will be using to support the community engagement that is so fundamentally important to this effort. We will also define our terminology.
- The second set of posts will provide a brief recap of the book Slaying the Status Quo: Evolving Smart Cities into Smart Regions.
- The third set of posts will expand upon the twelve elements as defined on the home page. This graduated educational process is basic for furthering healthy dialogue for generating positive disruptive innovation that can create sustainable Smart Regions across the country.
By the conclusion of our posting series, we will have our ‘e-Consensus Forum’ tool incorporated into these discussions, which will drive pilot project efforts across the Smart Region. Subsequent blog posts will follow these discussions and inform us with recommendations. We hope you will join us, as we plan to have many participating members willing to engage and address – not the symptoms of our problems, but rather their solutions.
